Manufacturing terminals for on-load switches requires high levels of performance in broaching, milling and drilling. To meet these demands, we have continuously optimised our manufacturing processes. Our complete range of terminals for on-load switches is produced at our facilities in Germany using equipment developed and built in-house. In this market segment, the focus is on small to medium-sized production batches.

Large profile openings require downstream vibratory grinding and thermal relaxation on the parts. We work with external partners to ensure a variety of electroplated coatings.

Product advantages

For the production of circuit breaker terminals, we provide the large units required. At HORA eTec, our specially designed hydraulic power packs are up to the challenge. We have solutions for extremely tight production tolerances. Even when processing cross sections up to 180 mm², tolerances of +/- 0.1 mm are not unusual.
