Whether in our German production facilities or in our international network for best-cost solutions: We manufacture customised turned parts for electrical engineering. Our many years of expertise have made us one of the most efficient brass machining companies in Europe. We manufacture exclusively on our own construction machines and with tools developed in-house. With us, you get the entire spectrum of machining from a single source – from the product idea to series production.
As experts in broaching technology, we are not only manufacturers, but also solution providers. As early as the design phase, we check the articles for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness and provide comprehensive advice. In doing so, we optimise geometries during the process to ensure cost efficiency for our customers. This also includes the production of prototypes using the 3D printing process or pre-series or sample production. Whether simple or complex, we realise almost any geometry/contour.
Proven materials
Since 1919, we have been experts in machining brass for electrical engineering and processing this material into precise broaching and turned parts. For some years now, we have also been expanding our expertise in the field of lead-free brass.
Depending on the machining cross section, we can process almost all brass alloys. For the requirements of electromechanical components we recommend the alloys CuZn39Pb3, CuZn39Pb2, CuZn40Pb2, CuZn42Pb0, CuZn40Pb2, CuZn36Pb1 as well as CuZn21Si3P (Ecobrass by Wieland).
In addition to brass, we also process aluminium. Our focus is on the processing of 6000 series aluminium alloys.

Manufacturing process
Our manufacturing capabilities have made us one of the most efficient brass machining companies in Europe. Our in-house developed broaching tools are characterised by long tool life, absolute precision in terms of manufacturing tolerances and an optimum cost-benefit ratio.
Machinery
Our machine concepts are designed for a wide range of geometries and quantities. We manufacture complex turned parts exclusively on transfer machines. We develop and construct all the tools and equipment ourselves at HORA eTec. With our in-house developed machines we are able to realise even complex contour openings and minimal wall thicknesses.
