Cutting of busbars should only be carried out by qualified personnel using suitable tools and taking appropriate health and safety precautions.
For safety reason it is essential that cut busbars are fitted with the appropriate end caps. The end caps can be removed from the preassembled busbars and reattached later.
All HORA eTec busbars can be shortened unless otherwise stated.
Individual
All HORA eTec busbars can be shortened – even the pre-assembled ones.
Flexible
Our busbar end caps are removable, re-attachable and available separately.
Secure
Clearance and creepage distances are maintained during shortening. The toothing of the end cap in the phase slot provides additional protection against flashover if swarf is not completely removed during shortening.
